Work calendar alarms with Outlook, Exchange and Microsoft 365
Peal turns meetings from your work calendar in Outlook or Microsoft 365 into real alarms that ring on iPhone and iPad through Silent mode and Focus. Your work appointments stay on the device: Peal needs no server and no account.
Why do work appointments stay on the device with Peal?
Work appointments carry the names of clients, colleagues and projects. Peal reads them where iOS stores them anyway, and passes them on to nobody.

How does the work calendar get into Peal?
Through the work account in iOS. If the Calendar app already shows your meetings, Peal sees them too once you allow access. Otherwise you set up the account once:
- Open Settings, then Apps → Calendar.
- Under Calendar Accounts, tap Add Account and choose Microsoft Exchange. That is the iOS entry for work accounts on Microsoft 365.
- Sign in with your work address and leave Calendars switched on.
- Open Peal. The work account's calendars now appear under Rules.
In many companies, IT decides whether the work account may appear in the iOS Calendar app. A personal Outlook.com account has a page of its own: Outlook calendar alarms.
Which meetings ring?
- Calendars The work calendar rings, the personal one stays quiet, or the other way round.
- Participants and keywords Only meetings with a particular client or a project name.
- Repeating appointments The weekly meeting rings or stays quiet, on one date or for the whole series.
- Invitations What you declined or what was cancelled stays quiet.
With Peal Plus, the smart alarms work out on the device whether somebody is waiting for you. Blockers then stay quiet, and the client meeting rings even when no keyword matches it.
Common questions
Does my IT have to enable anything for Peal?
No. Peal needs no account of its own on the company server. It reads what iOS already has on the device.
Can anyone besides me see my work appointments?
Not through Peal. The appointments are read on the device and never leave it.
Does the meeting ring while the device is in the Work Focus?
Yes. An alarm from Peal comes through Silent mode and Focus.
What happens when a meeting is moved?
Peal moves the alarm to the new time as soon as it sees the change, and every appointment says when it rings. The help page shows how Peal stays up to date.
Do Teams meetings ring too?
Yes, if they are appointments in your work calendar and pass your rules.
